About Us
Sach & Nav, Duo founders of Secret Locations Fiji which they created more than 23 years ago, hosting underground dance parties at unknown/unexpected locations around Suva, with no onset of social media back then all promos were via word-of-mouth, emails, texting, and free Geocities website!
They developed a taste of house music particularly Progressive house inspired from Global Underground and Renaissance compilations series. Classic early 2000’s Dj such as Nick Warren, Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, Sasha, John Digweed, Seb Fontaine to name a few.
And producers such as Oliver Lieb, Prince Quick Mix (PQM), Tall Paul, Paul Van Dyk, Laurent Garnier to name a few were the music that fed their soul and they tried to promote the same into the Fiji scene. Part of their musical journey was encapsulated by Padre James Bhagwan’s award-winning article that was featured on “Living in Fiji” Magazine’s March – May 2007 Issue. It went on to win the “Best Feature Article” in the Fiji Awards for Media Excellence (FAME)
After almost two decades of taking a break from the scene, they decided to get back at it again but this time about promoting unique experiences across carefully selected locations around Fiji Islands and the globe. With prime goal is to showcase Fijian cultural heritage and prominent landmarks through the prism of Electronic Music and 4K/HD videos.
Each show will be different in a sense of either music genre or Dj or a unique exotic location somewhere in Fiji. Our inspiration has come from well-known and popular projects such as CERCLE and ANJUNA BEATS. We are a privately organised project, so we are keen to hear from any potential collaboration from other Dj’s, producers, Event Organisers to work with it!
This project is something new and unique for Fiji and we hope to get maximum support from everyone who loves Fijian culture, heritage and locations and are interested to learn more about Electronic Music and Djing .
